Black’s Fork River Lodge is beautiful this time of year. Families love to gather on the weekends this time of year for a winter vacation. Snowmobiling, sledding, snowshoeing, playing in the snow and cross country skiing are some of the many winter activities families love to do while they relax at the lodge on a beautiful winter weekend.
Winter is an amazing time of year for family gatherings at Black’s Fork River Lodge. Families enjoy the solitude, peace, and relaxation of winter at the lodge. During the day the Uinta Mountains above the lodge provide world-class snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing that families love to explore and enjoy these spectacular mountains in the winter and experience the fresh powdery snow, wildlife, and winter scenery.
In the evenings family gatherings love to relax in the lodge next to the wood burning fireplace and eat good food and play games with their family and friends. The huge in-ground hot tub next to the lodge is another great spot on the Black’s Fork property for families to relax in the winter months. Families will love to soak in the hot tub on winter evenings after a day of playing in the snow and seeing some of the most beautiful winter scenery in the western United States. Children in the family will love to play games in the hot water and the large hot tub will be a great spot for everyone in the family to enjoy time while relaxing at Black’s Fork River Lodge.
Families that enjoy the outdoors will love the views from the lodge. The Black’s Fork River meanders behind the lodge just off the back deck of the lodge. The glass doors that open onto the back deck are a great place for outdoor enthusiasts to view wildlife and watch the river as they relax with family. In the winter months deer, elk, moose, and many bird species can be spotted along the river.
