Wyoming is a great state full of outdoor recreation, beautiful mountains, wildlife, and great fishing. Black’s Fork River Lodge is located in western Wyoming on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains along the banks of the Black’s Fork River as it runs down from the mountains and through the meadows on the foothills of the Uinta Mountains. It is truly a magical area full of beautiful mountains, abundant wildlife, and lots of outdoor recreation. This Wyoming group lodge is truly a fantastic lodge for families and groups of friends to gather and spend time together playing in the outdoors.
The Uinta Mountains are just above the lodge and offer year-round beauty and outdoor recreation. In the winter months groups can snowmobile, snowshoe and cross-country ski from a trailhead just up the road from the lodge and experience some of the most pristine snow and mountains that the western United States has to offer. In the summer months there are dirt roads that will take you to some of the most beautiful high mountains rivers and lakes. Groups staying at Black’s Fork River Lodge will be able to drive their OHVs or SUVs to these beautiful rivers and lakes and will be able to see wildlife and catch some fish.
The Black’s Fork River Lodge has great recreation right on the amazing property. The Black’s Fork River winds behind the lodge and offers wildlife viewing and beautiful views of the river and mountains right from the deck of the lodge. Groups that enjoy fishing will love fishing on the river as well as the pond on the property. The pond is also a great spot to relax in the warm summer weather and paddle around on the water in a canoe or on a paddle board or just relax on the grassy shore and watch the wind blow through the tall grass and the willows. The volleyball court is a great spot to play some games with family and the firepit is amazing for sitting around on summer nights talking and roasting some marshmallows. The swimming pool and hot tub are perfect for relaxing and doing some swimming while staying with your group at the lodge.
