Black’s Fork River Lodge is wonderful any time of year. Every season in Fort Bridger, Wyoming is amazing and has great outdoor recreation. We love the change of seasons and the exciting outdoor activities that are on the property and in the Uinta Mountains just up the road. It is perfect for a family getaway any time of year.
On the property is great recreation for the whole family. Children of all ages love to play on the pond on the canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. Families also enjoy fishing the pond and jumping in for a swim when the weather is warm. There is plenty of sports equipment on the property for those families that enjoy playing sports. Basketball, volleyball, lawn games, and pickleball are all fun to play with your family while staying at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The entire family loves swimming in the pool during the warm months of the year and sitting in the 10-person hot tub any time of year. The 2 fire pits on the property are perfect for sitting around in the evening and cooking hot dogs or marshmallows and telling stories. The large dining table is great for playing games and eating meals together and the game room is great for playing ping pong or foosball as a family. The Black’s Fork River runs right through the property and is perfect for sitting and relaxing on the deck while you watch the river and wildlife or wetting a line for those that enjoy fishing.
There is so much to do at the Black’s Fork Lodge and property your family will never run out of things to do, but if your group likes to explore the Uinta Mountains are just a short 15-minute drive up the road from the lodge. In the spring, summer, and fall months the Uinta Mountains offer world-class hiking, ATV riding, and fishing. In the winter months the Uinta Mountains offer some of the best snowmobiling in the western United States.
