Fall has arrived at Black’s Fork River Lodge and the Uinta Mountains. The fall colors have started to change and the reds and yellows are popping up all over the mountainsides. This is a great time of year to be at Black’s Fork River Lodge for a fall vacation. It is also a great time to start planning for a holiday vacation with your family. In this blog post we will share some of our favorite fall and holiday traditions at Black’s Fork River Lodge.

One of our favorite fall traditions is driving up in the mountains and seeing the beautiful fall colors in the late September and early October. The Uinta Mountains above Black’s Fork River Lodge are a perfect place to do this. A short drive up the road and you are in the Uinta Mountains and can drive some of the most beautiful forest roads in the national forest while enjoying the spectacular fall colors. Guests don’t even have to leave the property and can enjoy the beautiful fall colors along the river from the back deck of the lodge.

During the fall months another great tradition is roasting hot dogs and marshmellows while sitting around the fire in the evenings. Families that enjoy being outdoors will love sitting around the fire in the evening, listening to the river, and catching up with their family and friends. The cool evenings are fall colors along the river provide a perfect setting for sitting by the fire or soaking in the hot tub.

Afternoons during the fall months are a great time for being outside enjoying the beauty of nature. No matter what outdoor recreation your family enjoys it is available at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The fall months are great for fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, hiking, mountain biking, and playing sports. Families love to play pickleball and yard games on the massive lawn areas.

We hope to see your family this fall at Black’s Fork River Lodge for some fall outdoor recreation!
