Family reunions love to play and relax at the swimming pool area at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The large swimming pool is great for children on hot summer days. There is a pool basketball hoop, pool toys, and endless games for creative children to play in the pool. The large pool deck is great for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful summer days while talking to family and friends. The pool kitchen and pavilion is great for having lunch and snacks during the day. The big hot tub is the perfect way to relax at the end of a long day. The hot tub is perched above the river and feels amazing soaking tired muscles while listening to the river flow by.
The Black’s Fork River is a beautiful, small river running just behind the lodge. The back deck overlooks the river and is a perfect spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing on the property and the wildlife is abundant along the river in the morning and evenings and it is fun to watch the wildlife come down to the river to drink. The river is also a great place to fish and explore in the evenings. Walking up the river in the evenings is not only beautiful, but you often come across wildlife. Fishermen will find great fishing in the evening as the bugs hatch off the river and the fish rise as the sun goes down. Family reunions love to enjoy the river each July.
The pond at Black’s Fork River Lodge is also a family favorite in July. The pond is great to take a swim during the hot afternoon. Many families also enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, and paddle boating. The fishing on the pond is also fun and many children enjoy catching trout on the pond.
