The Black’s Fork River Lodge is an amazing location to have a weekend family lodge vacation any time of year. Families of all sizes enjoy the beautiful property, amazing lodge, and great cabins. The facilities are amazing and the recreation is endless. The winter is great for families who love snowmobiling and winter recreation. From April to December, there is great recreation on the property and in the surrounding area for the whole family to enjoy, making this a great Utah family reunion rental.
There is lots of amazing recreation both on the property and in the surrounding mountains. On the Black’s Fork property there is a private swimming pool and hot tub, a private fishing pond and section of river, volleyball, basketball, pickle ball, large lawn areas, playground, mountain bikes, canoes, paddle boards, and a game room. The on-site activities and recreation are enough to keep everyone in your group entertained for days, but if anyone in your group is interested in exploring off the propert, there is amazing recreation just up the road in the Uinta Mountains. Approximately 10 miles up the road is a trailhead called the Meek’s Cabin Trailhead that is great for accessing the beautiful mountains above the lodge. Those that want to spend time exploring in the mountains will find hundreds of miles of hiking and mountain biking trails to enjoy while they enjoy the highest mountain range in Utah.
The facilities at Black’s Fork River Lodge are amazing. The main lodge is a beautiful lodge that overlooks the Black’s Fork River. It has eight comfortable rooms and 6 full bathrooms. The large kitchen is great for preparing meals and the living room and TV area are great for gathering around the wood-burning stove and enjoying time with family. The back deck overlooks the river and is an amazing spot to relax and watch wildlife and catch up with family members. The ranch house next to the lodge is a beautiful three-bedroom home for a small family or a few couples. The pool area next to the main lodge is perfect for groups to gather during warm summer afternoons or evenings in the spring and fall to relax in the hot tub. Down along the river there are 6 camper cabins with 2 bedrooms in each cabin. There is also a pavilion with a full kitchen and bathrooms.
