Summer has arrived at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The warm afternoons and cool mornings are perfect for outdoor recreation and there is endless outdoor recreation on the property and above the lodge in the Uinta Mountains. In this blog we will share some of our favorite summer outdoor recreation on the Wyoming and Utah border around Black’s Fork River Lodge.
Swimming is one of our favorite outdoor activities and there are many swimming opportunities around the Black’s Fork River Lodge. One favorite spot is the beautiful swimming pool on the property. Families love to spend time in the pool playing games and relaxing. There is a beautiful in-ground hot tub right next to the pool and on cooler evenings it is a great spot for children to play or adults to relax. The pond on the property is another great spot for children to get out on the water and take a swim. It is shallow in most areas and great for children. Families that want to get up in the mountains can drive up the road and take a refreshing plunge in a high mountain lake just 30 minutes from the lodge.
The Uinta Mountains above the lodge also offer many other outdoor recreation opportunities and beautiful scenery. Families that enjoy hiking, biking, ATV/OHV riding will enjoy this spectacular high mountain scenery and many dirt roads. There are also fishing opportunities in the many lakes and streams.
Outdoor sports is a favorite activity for groups at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The property has a nice volleyball court on the grass, a basketball hoop next to the lodge, a pickle ball court, and large grass areas for playing soccer, baseball, or frisbee. No matter the sport that your family enjoys there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy your favorite sport at Black’s Fork River Lodge.
We hope to see you this summer at Black’s Fork River Lodge for some summer outdoor family recreation!
