Black’s Fork River Lodge is perfect for families and friends to gather and enjoy outdoor and indoor recreation any time of year. The property is located just a couple of hours from the Salt Lake and Ogden Valleys and only 30 minutes from Evanston, Wyoming. It is a great location for families and friends in northern Utah and western Wyoming to get together for a weekend of fun and recreation.

In the summer months family reunions love to use the lodge and property for gathering and enjoying time together as a family. There is endless recreation on the property for every age and interest in the family. Young children enjoy playing in the pool and hot tub, playing on the large grass fields, fishing, paddling around on the pond, seeing wildlife, and playing foosball. Teenagers and adults enjoy swimming, fishing, playing volleyball and basketball, mountain biking, canoeing, and playing yard games. The summer is a gorgeous time of year, and the outdoor recreation is endless. 

The fall season is also a beautiful time of year. The autumn colors along the Black’s Fork River are spectacular and the opportunity to spend time in the Uinta Mountains above the lodge is something guests love to do in the fall to see the amazing autumn aspen trees and colors this time of year. The fall season also offers the same recreation opportunities as the summer months. Groups enjoy swimming, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, yard games, volleyball and basketball, sitting in the hot tub, and watching wildlife along the river. 

The winter season at Black’s Fork River Lodge is a beautiful time of year and offers many winter recreation opportunities. There is world-class snowmobiling above the lodge in the Uinta Mountains. Many winter groups love to snowmobile from the Meeks Cabin Trailhead just 8 miles up the road from the lodge.  Families love to snowmobile into the Uinta Mountains and see the spectacular scenery and enjoy the endless powder fields and meadows. Winter guests also enjoy sitting in the hot tub, playing ping pong and foosball, playing in the snow, and watching wildlife.

During the spring months families love to gather on the weekends at Black’s Fork River Lodge and enjoy the beautiful property, watch wildlife, sit in the hot tub, play games, swim, fish, mountain bike, and sit on the fire. Spring is a great time of year to view wildlife and enjoy the peaceful property.
