The beautiful fall colors on the river and the snow capped mountains creates beautiful views from the Black’s Fork River Lodge. Families love this time of year at the lodge!
During the fall months families love to spend time outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. The fishing is great on the river during the fall months and many families love to spend time fishing the river while at the lodge. The Uinta Mountains above the lodge are also a spectacular area to spend time in the fall months. Families spend time in the Uinta Mountains riding ATVs, hiking, hunting, and looking for wildlife. Wildlife and waterfowl migrate down the Black’s Fork River during the fall months and they can often be spotted coming down the river through the property and are often seen by guests sitting on the back deck overlooking the river.
The fall months are also a great time to spend time relaxing in the lodge and playing games or sitting in the warm hot tub. The main floor of the lodge has a large wood burning stove. During the fall and winter when the weather is chilly the large wood burning stove is great for families to sit around and stay warm while playing games and telling stories. The large hot tub overlooking the river is also a great spot to relax during the late fall. The beautiful fall sunsets can be enjoyed while soaking in the hot tub and talking with family.
