Fall is in the air at Black’s Fork River Lodge. The nights are cool, the air is crisp, and the leaves are starting to change color.  This is an amazing time of year to get together with family and friends. The afternoons are warm, the nights are cool, the fall colors in the Uinta Mountains are amazing, the fishing is great, and the Uinta Mountains are spectacular for hiking and ATV riding.

We love the autumn at Black’s Fork River Lodge. There is so much to do and see. Families love to fish, swim, and play at the pond. They also love to spend the cool evenings sitting around the campfire roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, soaking in the hot tub, or relaxing on the deck watching the wildlife drink out of the river.

Those families that love to ATV and hike in the mountains will love the gorgeous Uinta Mountains just up the road from the lodge. The Uinta Mountains are the highest mountain range in Utah and have hundreds of miles of ATV trails and dirt roads. The fall is one of the best times of the year to explore these spectacular mountains. The aspen trees are gorgeous and the wildlife is active. This is a great time of year to get out and see elk and deer in some of the most beautiful country Utah has to offer.

Weekends in the fall are an amazing time to get away with family and friends and enjoy nature. Black’s Fork River Lodge on the border of Wyoming and Utah is the perfect location to gather and relax in the beauty of nature.  We hope to see you soon at Black’s Fork River Lodge for the fall colors in the Uinta Mountains. Give us a call and we will help you figure out dates that work for your family.
